Gairloch is not so much a town as a
collection of separate villages of which
Strath is one.

Situated on the shores of Loch Gairloch,
there is a local beach and views across to
the Isle of Skye in the distance.
 

Nearby is Charlestown, Gairloch's harbour, where you can take a trip to see whales
and dolphins.

Locally there is plenty of beautiful walking country to explore.
